11th February 2014 - Oh the weather outside is frightful...

"Conversation about the weather is the last refuge of the unimaginative." - Oscar Wilde

Sadly I must be incredibly unimaginative as today is mostly about the weather!

Another morning where we didn't go to the gym. We're so naughty. Paul is injured...that's the excuse! :)

Then it was work time which was also incredibly dull. As ever. It looked as though it was a nice day...for most of the day. I did notice this little chap on the weather forecast...

That's a symbol for light snow. It's not welcome here.

But that's what we got!

Giant hailstones turned into snowfall for about half an hour. Luckily then it stopped. I am not a fan of snow, as I have mentioned once or twice over the years, so at least this is all we have had so far. I really feel for those of you who have had rather a lot more than this. Not. Nice.

Thankfully it stopped just before we were about to leave to go home at the end of the day. It was moving in a line across the sky and across the country. I managed to snap a picture of the cloud that carried it.

It was far more pink in real life.

Paul was working in Manchester today, and it wasn't snowing there. Just on the motorway.

We had dinner and watched more The Good Wife. Then an early night. Dullsville of a day. Sorry.
