He couldn't wallow for long, as he had to go to the
football. I had to go to the shops to get a few bits and bobs.
The downside is that my chest was really sore. Like it was
back in March when I had Costochondritis. REALLY wasn’t happy about that. I don’t
know if that’s what it is but it sure feels like it.
Can’t dwell on that though, as there was a shindig to
prepare for, an outfit to find etc.
We were heading out for Chris’s birthday shindig at Circo on
the Albert Dock! We hadn't been for years and years. We went when it first
opened and we weren't very impressed. We were hoping our minds will be changed.
We all paid upfront which meant we got bottles of beer and
spirits delivered to the table so we didn’t have to go to the bar! Great idea!
Except that the bottles didn't really seem to last very long...and were very
expensive so we didn't actually get that much!
Ah well, we had a great time and the entertainment was
wicked!
The rum had sparklers!
FIRE DANCERS!
We were both pretty tired, so we left the party earlier than we necessarily would have. Sorry, Chris!
We got back and Paul headed to bed. I stayed up to have a drink of water...and woke up on the couch at 6am. Oops.
