02/02/2013 - Trying something new

Ah Saturday. How quickly you've come around this week...especially after such a sucky week filled with pain!

I was feeling a lot more mobile today, so after doing some chores, Paul and I decided to take a long walk to the other side of town and go to a fun bar/restauranty thing that my new line manager had told me about.

 Camp and Furnace. The website does not do this place justice. It's an old warehouse type place, with a bar and tables for you to eat, drink and be merry. There is also a massive second room where there are loads of picnic tables and a massive screen where they show football and old movies etc! It's amazing!

They want to put some caravans in there for people to rent out and stay over, hence the camp part!

It's a new favourite place to hang out. We literally stayed in there for most of the day!

We got a fair amount of wedding stuff done and discovered a half dozen more things that we have to sort out, but at least we were in fun surroundings! We both ate and had a couple of drinks. Lovely.

We ran into my line manager and his lady in there, so went and had a drink at the pub by Cains Brewery afterwards then strolled home.

We were both too full to eat anything else, so spent the rest of the evening chilling. Wonderful!
