11th February 2012

Saturday. My second favourite day of the week!

Today I got a new washing machine! Well...nearly new. It came from my grandparents' house. They are both in care homes so the family are clearing out their house to sell it. So my parents turned up on my doorstep with a washing machine! It's barely been used so yay! While I'm glad I don't have to pay for one; I don't enjoy the circumstances in which I got this one.

I also managed to get my old hard drive working with my mp3 collection on it! Cheesy music and songs from the musicals were blasting from my house today as I ironed!

It's Mummy Hartley's birthday on Wednesday. As I won't see her, I bought her some flowers today! You know how hard it is to buy any flowers that aren't red roses this time of year? VERY. Bloody valentine's day.

Literally the only option in the shop. Good job they are pretty!

After watching a bit of tv; I left Paul watching Match of the Day and came to bed. Where I found Maia looking gorgeous in one of my shopping bags. What is it with cats and bags?!

DIS IZ MAI HOWSE NAO.

Until next time...g'night!

10th February 2012

Send your love to baby Jacob Whalon everyone. He has a severe lung infection and very poorly. Not even a year old. GET WELL SOON, CHUNK!

Another crappy day. Lost 5 1/2 years work because my dumbass flash pen decided to lose it all. One say you'll see a pic of it smashed.

Discovered my blog is popular in the ol' US of A! Hey there and thanks for reading! Please comment or email and say hi! Blighty came second. Wotcha! France came third. Hey again, @Meysocial! Come on, other nations! Get those hits in! #Desperate

I promise I will try to find something interesting this weekend!

Here's this week's organic veg box. Yawn.

Yummilicious healthy dirty veg. Coming to a meal near you VERY soon!

9th February 2012

Today has been taken over with news of  friend's very poorly child.

As you can imagine, I didn't really contemplate taking pictures today. You'll have to make do with an analysis of female psychology. Aka the contents of my handbag.

I have no idea why half this stuff is in here!

All that's missing is the kitchen sink.

7th February 2012

Some people talk in their sleep. Some people walk. I take photographs...

This was at about 2.30am.

I am under the duvet. One of my legs is on the far left of the pic, the other on the far right. It turns out I was sleeping with both and Maia and Barney (who is not a small cat) in my sleep-space. Sleeping. I am torn between 'aw' as they're kinda cuddling together; and GET OUT OF MY SLEEP SPACE!

I don't remember taking this picture. I obviously thought something else was there, stopping my legs moving! Turns out, it was my live-in monsters!

I decided to treat myself today. Even though it's February, all the Easter goodies are in the shops. Yawn. Seriously, though, who buys their kids easter eggs in Feb, when Easter isn't until April?! 2 MONTHS AWAY!

I could eat these all day. However, 157 calories per bunny puts me off somewhat.

Well...ok...so I fell for a gimmick. But you know what. They are DEEEEELISHUS!

Phew!

Thank goodness for this disclaimer on the back. I was worried there for a second!

I started reading this the other night. We bought them for my sister in law for Christmas and she flew through them! I haven't a lot of time to read at the minute, but as a break from the Game of Thrones book.

I am currently undecided at the moment as to whether I'm enjoying them. I have a feeling it's another series in the same category as the Twishite books.

With quotes like these:

It only confuses me more! They quote Stephenie Meyer - one of the worst authors I've ever read; and Stephen King. An amazing author. Ok, they both say positive things. But seriously, STEPHENIE MEYER?! Makes me want to stop reading right now. However, I can't do that. I promised people on twitter I will keep reading, so on I go. Wish me luck. If any sparkly vampires turn up, I may actually start a form of Hunger Game myself. Stephenie Meyer being first up...

6th February 2012

Monday. The best day of the week (except Whedonsday), right?!

Today my Mum and Dad's kitten had a little snippety snip, and now is worthy of his high pitched mew...if you know what I mean...

Little Chuckles...before he lost his...um...bits...SUCH A GORGEOUS BELLY!

I finally found my passport! Yay! Ok, so you guys didn't know it was missing but believe me, I wasn't looking forward to forking out for a new one this year, when I will be changing it to my married name in a few years time. Phew! Anyway, it struck me how much I look like a photo-fit in my passport pic! It's 2 years old and I look so different! Very android-y!

For some reason it won't rotate. Probably because it's a photo of a robot.

After work, Paul and I enjoyed leftover green coriander chicken curry and watched some True Blood on blu-ray. I love that series! So many pretty people!

See! It really is green! Which means it's good and healthy, right?

To end the entry; here's a gratuitous shot of Barney looking gorgeous on the dressing table. My sweet boy!

My beautiful B-Rubz. Showing off his one remaining red soft claw.

5th February 2012

Relaxing Sunday?! Not so much!

Barney & Maia check out the state of the real world outside the window!

Still no snow in Liverpool, which is very good. I reckon it's crazy slippy outside though so staying in the house all day was the only option!

When you have this on your knee, why would anyone want to get out of bed?

My tasks for today were sorting clothes, shoes and bags in the wardrobes. Always fun. Didn't take as long as I thought, which is nice!

Anyone think I have too many shoes? *this isn't all of them...*

Then, when finished, it was time for a hot roast beef dinner, cooked by Paul. Delicious!

Piping hot roast beef, yorkshire puds, root veg mash, organic greens, parsnips & leeks, mustard & gravy. MMM!
